Fragments of Becoming
Acrylic on canvas
36 × 48 in. (91.5 × 122 cm)

This work is conceived as a conscious rebuttal to minimalist restraint, proposing instead a vision of life as abundant, layered, and unapologetically alive. The composition unfolds through bold biomorphic forms, echoing abstracted insects, worms, and microscopic organisms that are assembled into a dense and animated visual ecology. Saturated reds, yellows, blues, and earthen hues coexist in deliberate harmony, rejecting emptiness in favor of fullness and visual intensity.

Rather than distilling experience to its bare essentials, the painting embraces excess as a sign of vitality. Color, texture, and pattern operate in concert to suggest movement, growth, and interdependence, affirming complexity as a source of meaning rather than distraction. Here, color functions as a living language, energetic, expressive, and inseparable from the natural forces it evokes.
